WASSCE 2026 – Official WAEC Timetable for School Candidates Released

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) 2026 timetable is now available for all school candidates. Exams will start on Tuesday 7 April 2026 across Nigeria, Gambia, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. Find the complete schedule and list of subjects below.

WAEC has released the full timetable for the 2026 May/June exam for school candidates.

This schedule covers Nigeria, Gambia, Liberia, and Sierra Leone.

The exam starts on Tuesday, 7 April 2026.

The last paper takes place on Friday, 19 June 2026.

Each subject comes with a date, time, and paper type.

Prepare early and follow the details closely.

You will sit for both theory and objective papers.

Some subjects include practical and oral tests.

Important Notes

1. Difference in Time on Question Paper and Timetable
If the duration indicated on the question paper differs from that on the timetable, follow the time on the question paper.

2. Question Papers to Be Given Out in Advance of the Dates They Are to Be Taken

(1) Visual Art 3

• Paper 3A – Instructions will be given to schools two weeks before the paper is due.
• Paper 3B – The question paper will be given to candidates two weeks before it is due.
• Paper 3C – Candidates will be required to complete their projects within six months of the examination year. The period for submitting art pieces will be communicated.

(2) Block Laying, Bricklaying and Concrete Works 3 (Practical)
The question paper will be given to candidates three days before the paper is due.

(3) Project Work Papers
The question papers for Painting & Decorating, Dyeing & Bleaching, and Leather Goods Manufacturing & Repair will be sent to candidates two weeks before the examination. The exact date for delivery will be communicated through their schools.

3. Extra Time for Blind, Deaf and Dumb Candidates
Blind, deaf and dumb candidates should be given one and a half times the time allowed for other candidates.
