Importance of the WAEC Timetable

The WAEC timetable serves as more than just a schedule; it’s a strategic blueprint that empowers candidates to organize their revision and study efforts efficiently. Key Dates and Sessions

The Gambia, Liberia, and Sierra Leone are West African countries located near the prime meridian, which divides the Earth into eastern and western hemispheres. These countries adhere to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) or UTC+0, the standard time used in Greenwich, England. As a result, they observe the time mentioned below.

Nigeria is also in West Africa but it’s to the east of this dividing line. Nigeria uses West Africa Time (WAT), which is 1 hour ahead of GMT, or UTC+1. So, Nigerian students should add 1 hour to the time shown in the timetable below.
